Pedicure Palace is nestled in a serene country setting, along a road I have traveled often during these past 10 years. From the moment I arrive, I begin to relax and I am greeted at the front door by Dianne Wrobleski, always with a cheerful smile and a sincere "I'm so glad to see you again!". We enter the salon which is extremely tranquil, due to the feminine decor, wonderful aroma, and lovely , soft music playing. The trickling of the water fountain beckons me to sit down and unwind. I settle into the fluffy "Cloud Sofa" and the pampering begins with a warm rice bag for my neck, a massage device on my lower back, and my neglected, tired feet begin to soak in the bubbly foot bath. As I sit back sipping my Jasmine tea, I notice to my right on the wall, that the GIANT bulletin board is now covered with probably 200 business cards. I call this "Diannes' Networking Station". Any type of product or service that I may need, in southeastern Michigan, she can find the appropriate card and offer it to me. I see that she has been giving out MY business cards as well. This is who she is......kind, thoughtful, considerate and very attentive to her customers' needs. Any information regarding upcoming events, or attractions in our town, I can always find it here, in the stacks of flyers and brochures that she also displays for her clients.
Fifteen minutes later, Dianne returns for my Princess Treatment......during the next hour, she gently sloughs, massages, wraps, moisturizes and polishes. We talk a lot, we laugh a lot, we talk some more. I slip my silky-smooth tootsies back into my flip-flops, and prepare to leave the Palace. With a sweet "Good-by" and "Don't stay away so long next time!" from Dianne, I am off again down the country lane. I contemplate what I will cook for dinner, and realize that it has been too long since I treated myself to this affordable luxury!
Pedicure Palace is my OASIS!!
